European leader in refrigerated vehicle and container rental

Solutrans 2017: Petit Forestier exhibits the most innovative vehicle of the show, fitted with double award-winning equipment.

Petit Forestier’s first appearance at the Solutrans show by no means went unnoticed. Indeed, the Iveco 16T EURO VI displayed at its stand was equipped with two award-winning fittings: its subsidiary Lecapitaine’s EasyAcc’Air door, awarded bronze in the Bodywork Manufacturer category, and the Carrier Supra compressed natural gas refrigerated unit, which received the sustainable development award.

By presenting CoolLab® by Petit Forestier – a laboratory of ideas and experiments – Petit Forestier reaffirmed itself as a leading name in professional refrigeration rentals, and makes a real contribution to the advancement of industry techniques. Through CoolLab®, Petit Forestier highlights the technical means available to it - via its subsidiary Lecapitaine – as well as the intelligence behind its different manufacturer / equipment manufacturer partnerships. Its contribution, in terms of creating innovative solutions to both improve the transportation of perishable foodstuffs and reduce the carbon footprint, was applauded.

Aside from the other products on display (a 3T5 LGV with HI-Matic gearbox / cryogenic refrigeration unit and a small volume 100% electric 4 m³ LGV…), which highlighted real technical advances and adaptability on the new environmental scene, Petit Forestier is proud to have been able to demonstrate CoolLab’s® efficiency through, among others, the Iveco 16T EURO VI.

A vehicle that brings together the best innovations by Petit Forestier, Lecapitaine, Carrier and Iveco.

  • Lecapitaine Easyacc’Air rear opening (awarded Bronze in the Bodywork Manufacturer category)
  • Carrier 1st multi-temperature refrigerated unit with compressed natural gas (awarded Bronze in the Equipment Manufacturer category)
  • 100% CNG engine and refrigerated unit
  • 1 single fuelling point for two tanks (unit + chassis)
  • Vehicle: 60% less nitrogen oxide than Diesel; 95% less fine particles than Diesel; 10% less CO2 than Diesel; 2 times quieter than a Diesel engine.
Sustainable Development

A full time preoccupation

Looking resolutely to the future and concerned for the world of tomorrow, Petit Forestier attempts to integrate sustainable development into the daily life of the company and has responsible social, economic and environmental policies that take these challenges fully into account.

Our approach involves the implementation of corresponding practices and protocols in all areas of the business. We demand efforts by our suppliers and subcontractors, involve our employees and, in the eyes of public authorities and institutions, we represent a reliable partner. We respect and encourage regulations in the areas of the environment, labour and economic development, including in our international network. This strategy concerns all our services, products, purchases, properties, human resources…

The partnerships developed with manufacturers and institutions are just one illustration of our commitment. Our efforts also take the form of civic actions, initiating or participating in long term projects capable of producing benefits for the whole community.

Partners

Suppliers

For Petit Forestier, the choice of a supplier is based on ability, reliability and trust.
After signing an agreement, Petit Forestier issues a national listing for application in the French network and the international sites.

Petit Forestier favours loyal partnerships with its suppliers and, above and beyond a simple commercial arrangement, often works with suppliers in the early stages when launching new products.
